Advice: Bike

A bike can be a good alternative to cars, buses, trains, autorickshaws… It gives you a real feeling of freedom. They can be rented everywhere. The only inconvenient is that you will have to bring the bike back where you rented it. The owner will probably ask for your driving license. Any document with your name on and written in a foreign language will work.

If you stay in India for a longer period of time, you might buy a bike as well (and sell it when you leave the country). Make sure to carefully check the bike before buying it.

Comment from the pic's author: "I was offered a super deal on this "builder" in Karol Bagh (Delhi). The seller said it ran, and with a little paint and work I could ride it for another 100,000 kilometers." ;o) Obviously, he did not buy it...
